QR Code WiFi for Restaurants

Give diners instant WiFi without your staff repeating the password all night. Generate a free QR code, print it on a table tent or the menu, and guests connect with one scan.

  • Free your servers from spelling out the password
  • Fits table tents, menus, receipts and window decals
  • Works on every guest's phone — no app to download
  • Keeps your private network separate from the guest one
Security

Pick WPA/WPA2 for almost every network — it also covers WPA3.

Why restaurants use WiFi QR codes

A busy dining room means the same WiFi question over and over. A printed QR code answers it silently: guests point their camera at the table card and join in seconds. It looks professional, speeds up table turnover, and keeps staff focused on service instead of reading out a long password character by character.

Where to put it

Print the code on table tents, the bottom of the menu, the bill folder, or a small decal near the entrance. For the best scan rate, keep it at least 2 cm wide, add a short line like "Scan to join our WiFi," and make sure the printed contrast stays sharp.

Questions & answers

Should I use my guest network for the QR code?

Yes. Create a separate guest WiFi network on your router and generate the QR code for that one. It keeps your point-of-sale system and back-office devices isolated from customer traffic.

Will one QR code work for the whole restaurant?

Yes. A single WiFi QR code works for every guest and every table, as long as they are in range of the network. Print as many copies as you like.
